Most of the time, we think of travel as a getaway, to refresh and unwind from a mundane routine. Yet, traveling is a way to cope with other things as well. There are three times you might’ve not thought to travel, but still, these are three times it’s a good idea to do so.
Travel to cope with heartbreak. Whether it’s something like the loss of a loved one, or the termination of a relationship, traveling can help you process the events and get back to yourself.
Travel when you’re feeling lost. If you’re unsure of what step to take next, or facing a personal dilemma, going away can help you reconsider and readjust your priorities. Travel does, after all, entice introspection.
Travel to celebrate! Whether you’re celebrating a graduation or a promotion, don’t be afraid to treat yourself. Like the famous quote suggests, “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”
