It is not every day you see something interesting that happens at the beach, but lately, fear has struck. Recently, near Rosario, Argentina, as many people are swimming out into the ocean, they were bitten by piranha-like fish. Unfortunately, some men, women, and children, had toes and fingers amputated while several dozen were injured.
This was not the first time that these fish had attacked. These fish had also attacked unfortunate people in Sao Paulo, Brazil and La Paz, Bolivia. Some sources say that some are too afraid to go back into the water because of this outbreak.
Like the Snowy Owls story that was posted here on our site, there is also a campaign for the piranha fish and can be found here. By signing the campaign or getting involved shows a united front and have authorities keep a close eye on these harmful and sometimes fatal animals.
