Juanes to Perform HIV/AIDS Benefit Concert
Juanes will take the stage on Thursday, July 26th at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. to headline The Beat Goes On IV concert. The concert is being held to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Lifebeat, Music Fights HIV/AIDS, a national non-profit organization dedicated to reaching America’s youth with the message of HIV/AIDS prevention.
Tickets to see Juanes at The Beat Goes On IV are available now through Ticketmaster.com or can be purchased at the Warner Theatre box office. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Singer Omega to Spend 3 Months in Jail
Antonio Peter de la Rosa also known as meringue urbano’s Omega has been sentenced to 3 months in a penitentiary in San Pedro de Macoris for domestic violence against July Mercedes López. Singer and friend Akon visited Omega and publicly posted a picture together on Instagram stating “In the Dominican Republic Visiting Omega in Lockup! About to bring him home!”
Actor Christian Bale Visits Colorado Victims
Actor Christian Bale who plays the role of ‘Batman’ visited 7 of the Aurora, Colorado shooting victims. An online campaign was created so Bale would visit some of the 58 victims. He did not go to represent his studio or the movie, he visited on his own for two and a half hours. Bill Voloch, the interim president of the facility, told the Denver Post, “It was good for the patients; we hope it was therapeutic for them, and all the staff really appreciated him coming.”
