4th Annual Micro Chamber of Commerce Awards. “Education in our Community is our Priority”
MicroCC Fathers Day Award’s is gala dinner that honors individuals for their outstanding contributions to the Dominican community and the overall Latino population. Our main goal is to support and honor those who support hard working people and their families around New York City; The organizations objective is to create programs that help Hispanic families with technical careers and training as well as Job placements
Maritza Polanko of Polanko Creative Services, Inc., is the organizer, a company founded in 1996 a WMBE firm that is involved with over 500 businesses in the tri-state area. Last year this event support over 100 families with training and jobs. This year they are planning to benefit over 200 families with GED/TASC Preparation and Home Health Aide Sponsorship Training, for youth or their parents.

Fact: According with US Census 2010, the Dominican Community New York City’s the second-largest national group (behind Irish, Italian, German and Puerto Rican) in 2009, it was estimated that they compromised 24.9% of New York City’s Latino population, it estimated over 1,900,000 live in United States.

MicroCC Premios Día de los padres, es una cena de gala que honra a los individuos por sus destacadas contribuciones a la comunidad dominicana y la población latina en general. El principal objetivo es apoyar y honrar a aquellos que apoyan los trabajadores y sus familias alrededor de Nueva York; El objetivo es la creación de organizaciones de programas que ayudan a las familias hispanas con carreras técnicas y empleos.

El año pasado la empresa apoyo más de 100 familias con la formación y el empleo. Realidad: De acuerdo con el Censo de Estados Unidos 2010, en 2009, se estimó de la Ciudad Comunidad Dominicana de Nueva York es el segundo grupo nacional (detrás irlandés, italiano, alemán y Puerto Rico) que se comprometieron 24,9% de la población de la ciudad de Nueva York Latino, que estimado sobre 1,9 millones viven en Estados Unidos.
